For this freelance project, I designed a logo and a vertical banner for an up-and-coming cover rock band. The band wanted a logo that represented their passion for 1970s rock music. After the initial draft stages, we decided to pursue a logo that showed off elements from iconic bands from that time period.
The final logo uses fonts from those iconic bands' logos to establish, for their audience, what music they cover. I also incorporated a radio tower into the design after experimenting with different ways of portraying themes from the band name.
The band also reached out, asking for a vertical banner design to be displayed while they play. The main goal of the banner was to drive traffic to their Facebook page for more information on when and where they play.
